Shaman Khaluna Kam
Hello!
My name is Khaluna Kam. Some call me Alluria Khaluna Kam. I often hear "What is a Shaman?" or "Well there are many who say they are Shamans".
​The word Shaman is derived from “Kam” or “Saman”.
This is out of the Siberia and Eurasian areas. This title originated 1000’s of years ago, and is passed down through generations of teachings in therapeutic and healing modalities. In our tradition with Spirit of Wolf, it originates to Khakassia/Siberia, spanning to paleolithic times. It has been passed down from Teacher to student since the beginning of those times.​

My Bashky (Teacher) is Morsuk Kam. Morsuk Kam's Bashky is Karagai Kam. Our lineage and Holistic teachings are from an area called Khakassia in Siberia. My paternal lineage grew up in a small village in the Carpathian Mountains. One line is from Turkey, who were colonized and forced to assimilate. Further down in my lineage is and along the border of Siberia and Eastern Europe.
A large percentage of the work I do is trauma-informed, grief, holistic, and deeply compassionate and non-judgmental. I create a safe space and hold space for all. With a passion to create balance and restoration in all living beings, this includes trauma with any type of history.

I wholeheartedly lean into the truth that modern medicine and psychotherapy are effective healing methods. These can be thorough ways to address our needs. I also can definitely state that their is an additional component to this, and that is traditional shamanism, or spiritual counseling. This extends beyond believing in a religion, it's also a way of living in congruency with all living things. The belief is called animism.

I spent my childhood and the majority of my adulthood feeling a strong connection to people in a unique and intuitive sense. As I pursued my interests in world religions, animism, and nature, it became obvious, very quickly to o that my passion and purpose were part of this. ​​​
